Recognition
Sandra Conner, the Director of WTRC is a governor appointee, serving on the Community Advisory Council for the Red Line Corridor transit study.

In 2007, the Transportation Association of Maryland (TAM) recognized the WTRC as the
Best Paratransit System in Maryland.

Our primary target population is job seekers who are unemployed or under-employed.

WTRC
Uniqueness is attributed to the fact that its foundation stems from a community-based initiative designed to remove barriers that prevent job seekers from accessing and retaining jobs located in
reverse areas that pay livable wages.

 Strives to play an important role in placement and retention of job seekers using a coordinated approach.

 Strives to promote self-sufficiency for individuals and in the community.
